Adnan Aamir Selected as a Chevening Mentor for Budding Journalists

Adnan Aamir, the editor of Balochistan Voices, has been selected as one of the five Chevening mentors by the British High Commission.

Adnan Aamir attended Chevening South Asian Journalism Program Fellowship in 2018 at the University of Westminster London.

The three-month mentorship programme has been designed by British High Commission entry-level journalists working for media outlets or as freelance journalists across Pakistan.

Under this mentorship programme, every mentor will choose up to 4 budding journalists who will then be mentored during the course of this program.

Fellows from the flagship Chevening South Asia Journalism Programme will act as mentors for those picked to join the scheme and will share their knowledge and experience with young journalists in one-on-one coaching sessions, as well as group discussions.

“This is a unique opportunity of learning for budding journalists who can not only enhance their journalistic skills but also make contacts in the Chevening community, which will be helpful in later stages of their career,” Adnan told Balochistan Voices.
